Spoonville craze hits our schools
Concord’s vibrant new ‘spoonville’ village is bringing the community together – one spoon at a time – under the creative power of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School. St Felix talent draws a crowd
St Felix’s Catholic Primary School Bankstown have unearthed some budding young artists after its students participated in a unique art literacy program run by the State Library of NSW’s Multicultural Unit. In partnership with the Sydney Catholic Schools Refugee Liaison Program, the State Library facilitated several workshops designed for EAL/D (English as an additional language/dialect), refugee and vulnerable students. Remote learning in Kindergarten
The kindergarten cohort at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Primary School Austral had just got settled into their ‘big school’ routines when the latest COVID-19 lockdown came into effect. School principal, Lea De Angelis, acknowledged it’s been tough for the school's youngest group moving to remote learning when they are just barely used to being in a classroom.
