School Visitor WWCC Clearance

Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and we have a zero-tolerance approach to all child abuse. Our dedication to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment for all SCS students goes to the heart of our faith and core purpose. Read below for more information on how to engage as a visitor at one of our schools.

Volunteers and contractors engaging in child-related work must be screened, verified and cleared to work with children prior to visiting one of our schools.

For contractors not engaging in child-related work, please speak with the SCS representative engaging your services to understand more about any responsibilities or obligations before entering a SCS premises.

For paid employment, please speak with your Principal or visit our Careers page.

To be engaged as a volunteer or contractor in child-related work at a school, you must:

Complete the Visitor Registration Form for screening and verification.

Complete the Safe Schools Expectations Undertaking.

Receive written clearance from People and Culture Services via email.

Be engaged via the school’s engagement portal, prior to commencing volunteering or work.

Maintaining your visitor clearance

You can continue to be engaged at our schools by holding a current and active WWCC and completing a Safe Schools Expectations Undertaking each and every school year.

Renewed your WWCC? Notify SCS of your new expiry date.
