iLight2020: Virtual Carols
Welcome to Sydney Catholic Schools #iLight2020 Virtual Carol Choir. We have now reached the end of the snapshot of how to prepare for Christmas using the Jesse Tree with your family. It is hoped that you continue your journey towards Christmas in this way through prayer, symbol and song. Today we have the Virtual Carols Night which showcases our schools. Pictures tell the Christmas Story
The silent witness of the donkey at the Nativity scene, Herod the puppeteer, and modern-day Magi depicted as a farmer, doctor and fireman – they are among the themes portrayed in a Catholic schools’ Christmas Story Art Exhibition and Competition. About 12,000 Year 5 and 6 students from schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney, Wollongong and Bathurst took part in the annual project this year.
