EOC@Work: Inside our school’s new social enterprise
The creativity and commitment of Eileen O'Connor Catholic College (EOCC) Lewisham's students is driving a new social enterprise at the college. EOC@Work began at the college for students with moderate intellectual disabilities this year. The not-for-profit enterprise was inspired by a Christmas art project that saw colourful and expressive paintings professionally printed on cards to great effect. For their first social enterprise project, the students made Mother’s Day cards and gifts with vibrant tutti frutti, palm tree, flamingo and other designs. Here Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra artistic director Paul Terracini shares what life as a musician, composer, and conductor brings to the Amadeus classroom. St Joseph’s Rosebery opens its doors
A new era has officially begun at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Rosebery with the school opening its doors for the first time this week. After much excitement and anticipation, students from the foundation Kindergarten and Year 1 classes were welcomed into the brand new school to mark the start of Term 2.
