St Brendan’s opened on 13 May 1952, with 52 pupils in Kindergarten, First and Second Classes. They were accommodated in a fibro church-school which had movable partitions to provide three classrooms. The school was run by the Sisters of St Joseph. St Brendan’s has developed into a two stream, co-educational school from Kindergarten to Year 6.
