On 17 May 1914, it was announced that a new school would open in Daceyville, now called St Michael’s Catholic Primary Daceyville. The school was staffed by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and joined the newly formed St Michael’s Daceyville Parish in 1924. From 2006, the lay leadership of the school has been appointed by Sydney Catholic Schools. Today the school continues the ministry of Jesus through the charism and traditions given to us by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.
