Christ the King Catholic Primary School Bass Hill founded

The parish priest arranged for the Sisters of St Joseph to staff the new parish school at Christ the King Bass Hill. The school then opened in 1957 in the church hall. Today at Christ the King they continue to teach and learn about the Josephite tradition inspired by the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.
