Another season of sport came to a thrilling finish as the Sydney Catholic Schools 2024 Winter Championships took centre stage over two action-packed days on 31 July and 1 August.
The best teams across four sports—netball, football, rugby league and All Abilities Oztag—fought it out for supremacy having qualified for the finals in the week prior.
Our student athletes had the opportunity to play in some of Sydney’s premier sporting venues, with the netball held at Ken Roswell Arena at Sydney Olympic Park, the football taking place at Sydney United Sports Centre, and rugby league and Oztag gracing the fields at Holy Cross College Ryde.
Both days of the Championships were also livestreamed for free on the Sydney Catholic Schools website and YouTube pages.
Congratulations to our winners and to all students who participated in this year’s Championships, and thank you to the teachers and staff who helped facilitate competition each and every week.
