In 1956, the parish of St John Vianney and St Thomas More, Greenacre was established. The Sisters of St Joseph started the parish school in 1961 in the church hall which had been converted into a classroom. Over the past 50 years, with the demographic changes in the area, St John Vianney has developed into a vibrant multicultural community. It is a place of welcome and acceptance.
