The school began in 1915, just a year after the parish was established. The Brigidine Sisters staffed the school with Sr Paul King as first principal. The Sisters would travel from Randwick to the school to educate the children. The school was a primary school for boys and girls, which then turned into a secondary school for girls, and is now back to a primary school for boys and girls.
