There are significant moments in every person’s life and finishing school is definitely one of them.

Your 13-year journey from being a five-year-old Kindergarten student to leaving school is an epic voyage of personal growth and change.

Each and every student finishing school this year has their own story to tell – of sadness and joy, triumphs and failures, of moments of wonder and times of doubt.

The stories of our Year 12 students are too numerous to count, yet what each of you has in common is that you have arrived at the very same point in your lives – as school leavers ready to take on the world.

I sincerely hope your Catholic education has left you understanding that God’s love for you is infinite and eternal.

I pray that in life’s many twists and turns you always see the light in your own heart and the goodness that exists in those around you.

I pray that you seek the truth in your life and find the strength to stand up for what is right and good even when others are reluctant to do so.

And I pray that you see that in loving and giving you will live a life that is filled with blessings that will live on for generations to come.

Congratulations, good luck and God Bless.
