By completing and submitting this donation form, you (the “Donor”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are intended to ensure that you understand and consent to the use of your personal information and the payment arrangements associated with your donation.

Personal Information and Consent
By submitting this form, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information (including but not limited to your name, contact details, and donation amount) for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Your personal information will be used strictly in accordance with applicable privacy laws and may be used for donor engagement and stewardship communications.

We use your personal information to:

  • Process your donation(s) and issue receipts or financial statements.
  • Inform our donor stewardship activities and fundraising initiatives.
  • Perform internal reporting and data analysis for strategic planning.
  • Contact you with donation-related stories, updates, newsletters, or invitations to events.

Communications and Email Consent
By completing the form, you consent to receiving communications from us regarding your donation, impact reports, newsletters, and events.

You can opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe link in our emails.

Payment Terms – Recurring Donations Only
If you have opted to make a recurring donation:

  • The debit/charge will be processed automatically to the payment method you have provided at the frequency you selected (e.g. monthly).
  • If the first payment attempt fails, a second attempt will be made the following day.
  • If the second attempt also fails, a third attempt will be made three (3) days after the second attempt.
  • If the third payment attempt fails, the current installment will be cancelled.
  • We will attempt to debit your card again on the next scheduled installment date and will continue this process until your card details are updated or the recurring donation is cancelled.
  • You will be notified after each failed payment attempt.
  • One-time donations are processed immediately upon form submission and are not subject to these recurring payment terms.

Use of Donor Data for Reporting
We may use de-identified or aggregated donation data for internal reporting, planning, and accountability purposes. This may include summaries of:

  • Donations allocated to specific beneficiaries;
  • Donations received through particular forms or channels;
  • Contributions by network or region;
  • High-value or repeat donations.

Identifiable donor information is used internally only where necessary and in accordance with the SCS Privacy Policy. We will not publicly disclose any personal donor information without prior consent, unless required by law.

Refund Policy
Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 14 days so we can investigate and resolve the issue where appropriate.

Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on our website.
