Established in 1956 as a Kindergarten to Year 2 infants school, St Margaret Mary was staffed by the Brigidine Sisters who travelled each day from their convent in Randwick. The school grew to be a Kindergarten to Year 6 school in the 1960’s as the population of young families in the area expanded. Today the school continues the Brigidine tradition of valuing education in faith and building a holistic approach to life-long learning whereby the values of respect, peace, love, stewardship and social justice are promoted.
