The Role 

Exciting role due to incredible rapid growth, the Purchasing Officer is a dedicated role that is responsible for buying Information and communication Technology (ICT) products that are essential for the organisation’s day-to-day operations, reviewing prices and quality to ensure optimal stock levels.

With a goal of creating and maintaining good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is of high quality, fit-for-purpose and delivered on time, your main deliverables include:

  • ICT purchasing/procurement, ordering and receipting
  • tracking orders and ensuring smooth delivery
  • ICT asset management (including assessing and monitoring quality)
  • planning and organising asset rotation
  • end of asset life/disposal
  • researching suppliers
  • comparing and evaluating supplier offers and negotiating contract terms and pricing.

The Person 

The successful candidate will have attained the following:

  • attention to detail
  • advanced Excel skills
  • willingness to learn new systems CiA and Service Now for the purpose or raising orders and payment of invoices
  • logistics experience (provisioning of Assets to schools, organising couriers).
